What is Climate Justice?
“Climate justice means recognizing that climate change doesn’t affect everyone equally. It’s about protecting the most vulnerable and ensuring a fair transition to a sustainable future.”
Climate change impacts are not uniform across regions, population or even gender. The burden is felt more acutely by underrepresented groups, who are typically the most vulnerable. The quest for fair and equitable solutions is one of She-Nature’s core priority actions.

Our focus priorities include;
- Access to clean energy in rural coastal households
- Engage children in Climate literacies and intergenerational equity by sharing of local ecological knowledge
- Advancing conservation in Arid and Semi-arid areas prone to erratic weather conditions
- Championing women’s agenda for equity
- Strengthening the adaptive capacity of vulnerable groups through sustainable livelihoods
